2/23 ~ Third quarter progress reports go home.
School Spirit Shirts: Every year one of our staff members, Mrs. Martinez creates a parody and includes all of Ludwig. This year she has designed shirts that are $10.36, for all of Ludwig to order. Yearbooks for Sale: Yearbooks are available online at ybpay.lifetouch.com and you will need to use the following code to order for Ludwig: 12828518. The deadline for ordering is March 12, 2018.
Six Flags Read to Succeed forms are due by February 20th. To qualify for a free ticket students must read for a total of 6 hours. (360 minutes) Students may count as minutes the time they have read for their Book Bingo completion.

SKILLS COVERED FOR THE WEEK OF February 19th
READING- We will continue the Schoolwide nonfiction unit. We will look at text features and text structures and review how they help better understand nonfiction text. We will also review author's purpose and summarizing text.
ENGLISH- We have been writing responses to our reading in our ELA notebooks. We will review what prepositions are and how they enrich our writing.
SPELLING- Students have received their Words Their Way (WTW) books and will receive weekly schedules this week. For some the lists may be a review to reinforce skills learned last year. Students will be tested on different days depending on their group.
SCIENCE- We will continue to study "Electricity."
SOCIAL STUDIES- We will journey to the Midwest region and learn about the states composing the region and it's early history.
