The students did a terrific job with PARCC testing this week. Everyone showed great effort and perseverance with their tests.
Book Bingos are due this Friday, March 23rd. The students are working on a biography reflection and group project in class and need one reflection on one of the books they read this month.
Registration packets were sent home today. All Registration/ Emergency Info. forms are due back by March 28th (two weeks)
If you pay your fees before May 18th there is a $10.00 fee deduction. Thank you.

SKILLS COVERED FOR THE WEEK OF March 18th
READING- We will begin the Schoolwide Poetry unit. We will examine the features and structural elements associated with poetry.
ENGLISH- We have been writing responses to our reading in our ELA notebooks. We will continue to learn the structure and elements of different poetry and continue writing a variety of our own poems.
SPELLING- Students have received their Words Their Way (WTW) books and will receive weekly schedules this week. For some the lists may be a review to reinforce skills learned last year. Students will be tested on different days depending on their group.
SCIENCE- We will continue to study "Electricity."
SOCIAL STUDIES- We will journey to the Midwest region and learn about the states composing the region and it's early history.
Unit Four-Addition, Subtraction, and Measurement
We have completed unit four and will be reviewing in preparation for a test at the end of the week.
