Week of October 22nd
Notes from the Teacher and Important Dates
Ludwig will have a week-long celebration during Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 22-26), which focuses on “Saying No to Drugs” with a variety of activities. A flyer went home in student Friday folders. The Halloween Party will be on Oct. 31 with a parade at 9:30 am followed by classroom parties from 9:45-10:45 am, as we have an early dismissal at 10:55 am. Please keep in mind that our wellness policy states that our parties remain SNACK FREE. Although Halloween is a fun time for our students, we must ensure that their costumes do not include any “weapon like” items that could cause harm or disrupt the classroom.
In addition, the students may wear their costumes to school on Oct. 31, but please make sure the costumes are “school appropriate.”
